Central Air Installation & Replacement
We install and replace central air conditioning systems for single-family homes, two-families, and townhomes. Every system is sized by a Manual J load calculation performed at the property — not by matching the old equipment.

Air Conditioning Repair
Repairs begin with a diagnosis and a written quote, and the quoted price is the invoiced price. Same-day response is available in most of the service area during the cooling season.

Ductless Mini-Splits

High-Velocity Systems
Many older North Jersey homes cannot accept conventional ductwork without losing closets and ceiling height. High-velocity systems deliver central cooling through small flexible ducts that fit inside existing walls. We are a certified installer of The Unico System.

Cooling Maintenance

NJ Clean Energy Program rebates through PSE&G and JCP&L apply to qualifying high-efficiency equipment, and heat pump systems may qualify for the federal tax credit of 30 percent of project cost, up to $2,000. We identify the programs that apply to your project in the quote.

Most residential installations are completed in one to two days. Projects that include new or corrected ductwork take longer, and the timeline is stated in the written quote before work begins.
We present both options with their costs. As a general guideline, when a system is beyond fifteen years of age and a repair would exceed one third of the cost of replacement, replacement is usually the better use of the money. The decision remains yours in every case.
The size is determined by a Manual J load calculation performed at the property, which accounts for square footage, insulation, windows, and layout. Oversized systems short-cycle and dehumidify poorly; undersized systems run continuously without reaching temperature. We do not size by matching the old unit.
Homes with sound existing ductwork are usually best served by central air. Homes without ductwork, and rooms the main system does not reach, are usually best served by ductless zones or a high-velocity system. The assessment visit settles the question for your specific house, and the quote can price more than one option.
